I've entered into the land of fashion. Well, sort of. I am getting a skirt manufactured with one of my Winnipeg images on the front and back. These skirts will be on the market soon! If you're interested, let me know ~ that way I can be sure to have enough made in the appropriate sizes. My manufacturing order date is October 31.

This photo was taken in Winnipeg's Exchange District, a favourite area of mine to photograph.

Long Exposures

I didn't think we saw them. Still, I took some long exposures, just in case. My feet were poorly prepared for the dropping temperature, so we packed up my gear and drove off.

Once I saw the images on my computer, I was surprised to see that the Northern Lights had shown up, even if only for a little bit. Sometimes a long exposure will show more than the naked eye.

Even though we don't always see things, it doesn't mean they aren't there.

Under the cloud, it is cloudy.

And real.
There will be times when all we can see are clouds.
And that is real, too.
Even when others are in the sunshine just beside you.

Sometimes it takes a kind of faith that reminds me there is more to the picture,

that it isn't cloudy everywhere,

that it won't always be cloudy.
That is also real.
