Steel's Tears

Even the strong shed tears.

In this macro photo, I've selected a depth of field to draw attention to a single tear. Though singular on the link, we see there are more drops on the links previous and following. Bokeh shows us this is so in a gentle haze of light and form.

Forgetting the sorrows of the past in a way that softens their sting while keeping their wisdom...reaching towards the future without knowing what sorrows or joys may still come...this is how I want to live my life. Trusting that future's sorrows (or today's) will not break me but rather make me stronger is how I choose to live my life.

The strength that has no beginning and no end is not my own by origin but rather mine by grace.
