Decorating for a Bridal Shower

Recently, I had the complete priviliege of helping plan a bridal shower for a dear friend. We brainstormed and came up with a fresh theme of butterflies. A gaggle of us gals got together one afternoon to create some vertical hanging butterfly garlands, believing we could have this done in a snap. Though it wasn't as speedy as we thought it might be, it was a whole bunch of fun to do this together and really pretty easy.

 

With a simple butterfly punch, one of the gals made confetti for the table tops.

My party planning partner came up with some beautiful ideas on a budget such as these centerpieces for each table...

...and one feature piece for the food table.

 

 The butterfly theme spilled over onto our cupcakes.

 

Another lovely lady prepared a fancy water table, filled with beautiful pitchers of tasty water, free of sugar but full of flavour.

Once the room was decorated, the shower was on, complete with some delicious food (made by some fabulous friends), shower games with a twist and a devotional as well.
