Sometimes I stayed on top of the hard crust. Sometimes I sank to the bottom and found myself thigh deep in the snow. It was pretty and I did see a deer and some chickadees so the work out was well worth it.
Thanks! Yes, we still have snow - lots of it. It is supposed to be nice this week - finally above zero so it should start to melt. This was taken a couple of hours ago on my morning walk.
