Macro Lens

I love to shoot with my macro lens. It allows for exploration and discovery. Colours and textures are revealed that were shrouded by limited vision before.

When I began composing this picture, I knew I'd see the grain of the wood and colours not readily apparent to the naked eye but the nails took me by surprise. I've walked by this sign on my trail more times than I can count but never thought of it as anything that could possibly be dangerous. And I suppose it is still not dangerous, unless you're like me and you climb into the shrubbery to get a closer look. Now I know and will be careful.

Photography, especially macro photography, can broaden our view while narrowing it. Grab your camera and see the world around you in a new way today.

  1. Narrow your view if you want to broaden it. That's an interesting idea.
